This role performs a fundamental aspect of the physical security of Electricity North West. The Security System Manager is responsible for the monitoring and running of security systems within ENWL, including Access Control, CCTV, Intruder detection and locking systems for offices, depots and operational sites where systems are in operation. Working with contractors, facilities providers and users of the systems. Delivering the function of access control starters, movers and leavers ID cards. This role will be a subject matter expert in the management of ENWL security systems.
The successful candidate must, at the start of employment, have permission to work in the UK without sponsorship.
What We’re Looking For
- GCSEs in Maths & English and A levels
- Experience in managing security systems (desirable)
- Data Management skills essential
- Technically competent with security systems
- Technically adept at operating computer identity management systems
- Excellent communication and influencing skills – ability to influence key suppliers and stakeholders including employees and management
- Strong organisational skills - ability to develop new processes to drive efficient behaviour
- Ability to prioritise a varied workload to strict deadlines
- Must be able to work under own initiative with a proactive and flexible attitude
- Excellent IT skills in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. SAP desirable
