What will you be doing? We’re seeking a talented individual to join our Risk Advisory practice in London, which is responsible for supporting the continuous evolution of the established Risk Advisory team. The role will work closely with the other Assistant Managers, Managers, Senior Managers and Directors to build on the capacity and capability of the Risk Advisory team to support our clients in delivering internal audit, risk management and controls and technology assurance solutions. The team provides a broad range of assurance and advisory activities to help our clients manage the risk over their business processes. This is an exciting role where you will be joining a growing and ambitious professional services team with a strong emphasis on its people and their development. You will work with some of the UK’s most interesting companies and will have a role in developing the future of our Risk Advisory practice, working in collaboration within Assurance and Business Services and the wider Evelyn Partners, sharing of ideas, developing solutions. As an Assistant Manager - Risk Advisory, your responsibilities will include among others:
- Building strong client relationships, identifying, and developing opportunities to improve the clients' businesses and/or developing additional services for Evelyn Partners.
- Delivering high quality internal audit assignments across broad client base with ability of adapting and tailoring risk advisory solutions for clients.
- Managing the delivery on a portfolio of work by prioritising and balancing priorities and contributing to the development of Risk Advisory capability at Evelyn Partners.
- Supporting and developing responses from invitation to tender.
- Supporting the development of the Risk Advisory team by identifying training and development needs, delegating appropriate work and supporting more junior team members.
To be successful in this role, you should:
- Ideally be ACA, ACCA or IIA qualified.
- Previous experience in Internal Audit or Risk Advisory and Tech Assurance /Controls Assurance or Risk Assurance.
- Previous experience working in Financial/Professional Services.
- Experience in business development activities, such as: supporting proposal documents and attending networking events.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability of motivating more junior members of the team.
- Ability to deliver against set performance metrics.
