Temporary English Lecturer – £35 - £40 per hour

Location: Worsley College

Start Date: Tuesday 22nd April 2025

Duration: Up to 2 weeks (paternity cover)

Hours: 24 hours per week, Monday to Friday (specific timetable available on request)

Hourly Rate: £40 per hour

Meridian Business Support is seeking a qualified and experienced English Lecturer to deliver GCSE English and Functional Skills English at Salford College based at their Worsley College site.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Level 5 qualification in English
  • Previous experience teaching English at GCSE and/or Functional Skills level
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

This is a great short-term opportunity offering £40 per hour to support learners during a staff paternity absence.
