In this role, you’ll tackle problem-solving, document root causes, and improve service levels while upgrading current systems. You’ll play a key part in transitioning new services into operational use, managing capacity planning, performance optimisation, and delivering cutting-edge infrastructure solutions aligned with my clients’ evolving needs.
Your focus:
- Managing databases from installation to troubleshooting.
- Optimising server availability and maintaining backup systems.
- Leveraging expertise in Oracle Enterprise Manager, cloud infrastructure, and server management.
About you:
- Proven experience with Oracle and MySQL databases.
- Proficient in Solaris, Red Hat, and Ubuntu.
- Skilled in Oracle PL/SQL, UNIX scripting, iTrent, and Agresso.
- Expertise in automation, capacity planning, and database security.
- Higher education sector experience is a bonus.
