As an Integration Engineer you will work on design validation, development, integration, and testing of electric propulsion systems, including high-voltage (HV) power systems, electric drive units (EDUs) and Battery. In this role you will design validation through PiL (Powertrain in the Loop) and ViL (Vehicle in the Loop) testing, ensuring the system meets performance and regulatory requirements.

Your responsibilities:

  • Developing and executing PiL/ViL test plans.
  • Working on System architecture, software development, calibration, and integration, contributing to the overall EV driving experience.
  • Analyzing test results and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborating with other engineers and stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
  • Participating in design reviews and providing feedback.
  • Contributing to the development of new EV technologies.
  • Working with software engineers to develop and calibrate control systems.
  • Ensuring the system meets regulatory and safety requirements.
  • Ensuring safety functionality.

Your Profile

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

  • Good experience in BEV propulsion system, knowledge of HV systems.
  • Proven experience with PiL/ViL testing and validation.
  • Test planning and understanding of test standards.
  • Test data analysis from rigs and compliance to test standards.
  • Understanding of VSC & calibration knowledge / sensor control.

Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or automotive engineering.
  • Exposure to AVL / Horiba test rigs.
  • Problem solving / 8D.
  • Working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
