P&G is a leading company in the manufacture of Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), making some of the world’s best loved brands like Gillette, Fairy, and Oral. Here in Manchester, we've been making P&G products at our Trafford Park site for the past 90 years and after some exciting new investment are looking to recruit motivated technicians to join our Pampers manufacturing team.
Technicians will join a multi-skilled team responsible for operating, maintaining, daily running, and troubleshooting of complex process technologies on our production lines. They contribute to producing high quality branded products that improve the lives of consumers. The plant operates 24 hours a day and our technicians work a 12.5 hour shift pattern, including days and nights.

What we Offer You:
- Competitive Salary: Starting pay with shift premium - £36,902.32; Level 2 pay with shift premium - £40,436.24; 7-day shift pattern Starting pay with shift premium - £40,126.32; Level 2 pay with shift premium - £43,660.24.
- Generous Pension: The Company will contribute double the amount you contribute towards your pension savings, up to a maximum company contribution of 14% of your pensionable pay.
- Annual Leave: You will start with 25 days annual leave entitlement (plus bank holidays), increasing with length of service up to 30 days.
- 1-4-1 Shares: For every share that you purchase, the Company will purchase a share on your behalf. You can contribute up to 2.5% of your salary into the 1-4-1 Share Plan, up to a maximum of £150 a month.
- Private Medical Insurance: Our Private Medical Insurance Plan provides eligible employees with access to private medical treatment, if they wish.
- Dynamic and respectful work environment: This role is based in our Manchester Plant in Trafford Park. There are bus and tram links near to the site as well as free onsite parking.
- Continuous coaching: You will work with passionate people and receive both formal training as well as day-to-day mentoring from your manager.
