This position is a maternity cover contract, until 31.08.2025. Come and take a key role in a friendly and collaborative department in a successful all age school in one of the most beautiful settings in Wales. Ysgol Penrhyn Dewi VA is a 3-16 Church in Wales school that serves the historic city of St Davids and surrounding areas. Based in the picturesque surroundings of the Pembrokeshire National Park, the school is a caring, inclusive and welcoming environment where pupils and staff are proud of the Christian and community ethos.
The school has strong links with the local community where there are extensive opportunities for outdoor pursuits and social and cultural activities. The school is looking to appoint a forward thinking and innovative practitioner who is passionate about the curriculum changes taking place currently within Wales and would like the opportunity to translate these ideas into practice. Applications are most welcome and encouraged from both primary and secondary trained teachers who are able to teach Welsh Baccalaureate and Humanities subjects to GCSE level (all specialisms will be considered). The successful candidate will be part of the Humanities Area of Learning team.
