Overview: Are you passionate about pushing retail media? Managing and driving forward exciting and innovative projects within Boots across both physical and digital mediums? We’re looking for a Retail Media Specialist who will own the delivery of our new retail media channels in Boots. From the delivery of new media inventory to Boots, collaborating with the wider business on how this inventory can be maximised but also working closely with our retail media partners across both data and media. This role will be responsible for delivering new retail media channels, including commercialisation and subsequent evolution; working closely with the Retail Media Manager and key internal stakeholders to ensure release and ongoing execution of activity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hands-on and day-to-day management of the delivery of key new retail media channels for Boots; supporting on the retail media planning and leading on the delivery and reporting.
- Working across a range of technical delivery teams and third-party partners to manage timelines, deliverables, and key project milestones.
- Weekly reporting on performance and project deliverables and milestones.
- Utilizes martech to support the delivery of effective campaigns; works closely with BMG data science teams to drive mass personalization across channels.
- Works with BMG analytics teams to measure and report on campaign & channel performance; ensures KPIs are in place for all activities.
- Support in the set up of new media and data partnerships across internal and external legal, procurement and data teams.
What you’ll need to have:
- Demonstrable expertise across a range of media channels, particularly across addressable media with experience/understanding of ad tech/ad operations/digital marketing/programmatic.
- Scaled project delivery experience, ideally in retail and/or consumer businesses.
- Experience of managing multiple stakeholders – experience of working in close collaboration with creative and content teams.
- Understands how to incorporate customer insight and customer journeys with analytics to drive results.
- Ability to drive measurable performance for the business and understand how to maximise use of a channel from a commercial and marketing perspective.
- Analytical and structured; beneficial if proficient in key martech/media tools, including FB, Google, Amazon, Criteo, GA360, Adobe (or similar); understanding of performance tracking including digital performance metrics, econometric and MTA.
