Meridian is looking to recruit a number of Commercial / Industrial Electricians for permanent employment with a leading M&E provider on projects across the UK.

£43,095 starting salary + additional overtime rates are paid as follows:

  • x1.5 after 42.5 hours each week
  • Saturday x1.5
  • Sunday x2

Electricians are expected to earn no less than £55,000 per year with the overtime on offer with our client.

The role is for experienced JIB Electricians to join our client’s team working on Commercial / Industrial Installation projects including Commercial Fit-out, Data Centre, Telecoms, and Critical Power & Infrastructure projects.

Candidates must have previous Commercial / Industrial Electrical experience in:

  • Installation of Cable Tray, Ladder rack & containment systems.
  • Experience in Glanding & Termination of S.W.A and Power cables into LV panels.
  • Knowledge of RAMS, Battery backup & UPS systems (AC/DC), Generators, and HV power systems would also be an advantage.
  • Previous experience of working in Data Centre / Critical Power & Infrastructure projects would also be beneficial.

  • JIB Gold Card
  • 18th Edition
  • Must have full UK Driving Licence

Working Hours:

Basic hours are 42.5 hrs Mon - Fri with a minimum of 55 hrs per week when working away from home, with additional weekend overtime as and when required and projects demand.

Working away from home during the week is an integral part of this role as our client covers all areas of the UK. Therefore, candidates must be prepared to travel and stay away from home during the week as and when required, for which a company vehicle and accommodation (own room) is also provided.
