Purpose of Role: To support Scholars School System through the development and implementation of a strategic student marketing and recruitment strategy. This includes leading the strategic management and delivery of student marketing, recruitment, progression, and conversion activity plans; working in collaboration with all relevant departments and within wide student marketing and recruitment plans for priority markets; to create co-ordinated, data-led student marketing and recruitment plans that deliver successful outcomes for Scholars School System. To lead on the provision of timely and accurate student recruitment data and analysis to the College’s Recruitment and Admissions Department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Working with the Director of Admissions and Marketing and Scholars School System Senior Management, to lead on the development and implement the student marketing and recruitment strategies for the Organization and to achieve student recruitment targets.
- To monitor progress against recruitment strategies and targets ensuring analysis is data-led and informed, and that market intelligence generated by the Student Marketing and Recruitment Team is captured, effectively integrated with other data sources and used to inform future student marketing and recruitment strategies and plans.
- To contribute to the academic portfolio review and future size and shape of the College, contributing relevant knowledge and expertise around recruitment markets and pipeline curriculum.
- To monitor and report on progress against offer targets; supporting the Director of Admissions & Marketing in the production and presentation of relevant reports to the Senior Management, the Recruitment and Admissions Department, and senior academic colleagues.
- Working collaboratively with the Marketing and recruitment colleagues to ensure that College wide student marketing campaigns and recruitment event/schedules are coordinated.
- To oversee the operational management, co-ordination and delivery of recruitment and conversion activities and marketing campaigns both within the College and externally – such as UCAS fairs, schools and partner liaison, exhibitions, open days etc.
- Working with SSS colleagues to ensure that all the above activities are applicant focused and provide an exceptional applicant experience that is inclusive and meets the College’s widening participation ambitions.
- Ensuring that marketing, recruitment, progression and admissions activity is joined up and coordinated across the College.
- To plan and allocate staff resource to support student recruitment and conversion activities including alignment with Student Marketing and Recruitment plans/collaboration around feeder institutions and agent channels.
- To assist with the implementation of CRM, working collaboratively with the Student Marketing and Admissions team within Scholars School System.
- Working with key colleagues in Student Marketing and Admissions to ensure that student enquiry data generated by marketing and recruitment activity is captured, and that effective processes and communication plans are in place to take students through from the enquiry stage to enrolment to the college.
- To manage the College’s Student Marketing and Recruitment budget, including monitoring the impact of all related activity.
- To work with key colleagues in Admissions and Student Marketing and Recruitment, and the course teams to support the development of streamlined application processes and procedures and ensure that appropriate communication plans are in place to facilitate conversion from application through offer to enrolment.
- To maintain a strong knowledge and professional level of expertise of all programmes offered by Scholars School System and to be fully conversant with the College and Partners universities entry requirements, admissions policies, and procedures to ensure that all student marketing and recruitment activities are compliant with Scholars School and Partner University policies.
- To provide comprehensive reports following recruitment visits, to disseminate these reports appropriately within the College and to ensure that market intelligence gained through student recruitment activity is fed back to colleagues within the Student Marketing and Admissions department.
