About the Role
Reporting to the CWS Multifunctional Team Manager, this leadership role supports Water asset operations, focusing on best practices in H&S, Water Quality, and fiscal management. The position involves improving operational performance across diverse Water Network assets and leading a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage water network activities in Argyll mainland and Lochaber, including wastewater networks.
- Foster a positive health, safety, and wellbeing culture.
- Lead and manage NSO and NMO teams, overseeing repairs and maintenance of water and wastewater infrastructure.
- Drive performance improvements and enhance customer experience.
- Manage network incident response and root cause analysis to improve asset resilience.
- Support the Capital Investment Programme and ensure timely project delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop effective solutions to area-wide challenges.
- Manage contractors and ensure H&S compliance.
Candidate Requirements
- Significant experience in operational roles with a proven track record of safe, compliant performance.
- Strong leadership skills, including coaching, influencing, and team performance management.
- Knowledge of legislation, standards, processes relevant to distribution.
- Ability to manage a large budget and operational environment.
- Valid driving license.
