Autumnal Partners are exclusively recruiting on behalf of a high growth Private Equity Fund in the West End. The role represents an excellent pathway into finance for a high quality recent graduate and the business has significant track record in both development of staff and internally promoting them. The client will also sponsor an ACCA qualification and support and work with you on your path to full qualification.

The Trainee Accountant will be expected to perform any of the following tasks:

  • Processing invoices for payments and entering into general ledger (accounts payable)
  • Issuing invoices, logging them and entering into general ledger (accounts receivable)
  • Processing all expense claims (mainly via credit/debit cards)
  • Initiating payments via bank internet access, for all entities including clients
  • Performing daily bank reconciliations
  • Preparing and posting of required journal entries to ensure complete and accurate accounts (e.g. prepayments & accruals)
  • Updating and maintaining various control Excel spreadsheets
  • Preparing accounts reconciliations (balance sheet and P&L)
  • Preparing VAT returns
  • Assisting the preparation of various regulatory reporting statements/reports as required
  • Assisting in audit process
  • Liaisons and develop good and effective relationships with various stakeholders

Applicants will ideally be recent graduates from Russell Group universities keen to train as an accountant.
