Shift Pattern: 5 days across Monday to Sunday, 8 hours shift, 5:45 - 14:00 or 14:00 - 22:00
Duties & Responsibilities
- Support the Health Club Manager and Estate Management Team with all operational aspects of the leisure facility.
- Promote leisure services to members and track their progress.
- Deliver high levels of customer care to residents and guests.
- Greet and interact with residents/guests, maintain the environment and equipment to high standards.
- Personal train clients when required.
- Assist with daily operations at the Sky Pool.
- Provide a 7-star professional service, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and enjoyment within the Leisure facility.
- Ensure smooth and professional operation of the leisure facility.
- Teach exercise classes and train residents in Personal Training when required.
- Assist the Sky Host on Level 10 and conduct daily Sky Pool inspections.
- Respond to emergencies and handle resident/guest questions, concerns, and complaints professionally.
- Familiarize with services offered and serve as a customer service liaison.
- Help with resident/guest retention and growth.
- Carry out Gym and Sky Pool inductions.
- Communicate regularly with the HCM and suggest improvements.
- Comply with legislation such as Health & Safety at Work Act, Fire Cautions, COSHH, etc.
- Complete all procedural documentation promptly.
- Stock, clean, and organize fitness areas and equipment.
- Monitor music and sound levels to ensure a conducive workout environment.
- Anticipate residents/guestsβ needs and provide guidance.
- Be visible and assist members and guests, notifying HCM before breaks.
- Remain until appropriate cover is arranged if your shift ends without replacement.
- Attend departmental and staff meetings.
- Recognize opportunities to promote services like PT, classes, etc.
- Engage in ongoing education and training.
- Complete assigned tasks and submit requests for time off.
- Represent the Leisure facility professionally and maintain a neat appearance.
- Follow all policies and procedures.
- Cover reception and Welcome Host duties when required.
- Perform other duties such as assisting with events, pool testing, or pool plant.
- Work across various Estates Leisure facilities as needed.
- Foster a positive team culture and assist with stock control.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients.
- Passionate, lively, approachable, and charismatic.
- Good team player with the ability to offer constructive advice.
- Good knowledge of health & safety regulations.
- Experience in face-to-face customer service.
