Are you ready to take your coordination and administration expertise to the next level? GES is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Floor Covering Coordinator to join our team. As a Floor Covering Coordinator at GES, you will be responsible for coordinating key administrative tasks within Floor Covering and Central Planning. The role involves executing internal and external coordination following integrated planning processes, with a primary focus on Floor Covering.

Key activities and responsibilities:

  • Complete accurate floor covering estimates by liaising with Account Management and retrieving data from our MIS system Clarity.
  • Follow detailed SOPs to complete various daily/weekly tasks using excellent organizational skills.
  • Maintain and update data within Clarity, ensuring the system is always current.
  • Coordinate with Show Build Live to ensure all pre-show preparations for Floor Covering are completed per SOPs and processes.
  • Liaise with suppliers and partners to place accurate orders for floor covering materials, transport, and labour.
  • Process, verify, and receipt purchase orders using Sage and Clarity for internal and external suppliers.
  • Arrange travel and accommodation for the Floor Covering Delivery team as needed.
  • Handle telephone and email inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Update costing data across various systems and processes.
  • Record and process final figures with the Delivery team after events.
  • Issue invoices and ensure smooth transactions with external suppliers, partners, contractors, and sub-contractors.
  • Provide administrative support within the Central Planning Team, including ordering uniforms, stationery, and managing absence/holiday cover.

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm. Occasional evenings and weekends may be required during busy periods.

Annual Leave: 25 days per year plus bank and public holidays.
