Operations Analyst – Tier 1 Hedge Fund

Applicants must demonstrate exceptional education, including at least a 2.1 degree in a STEM subject from a Russell Group or equivalent institution, and excellent A-Levels or international equivalents. Relevant experience in a similar Operations role is required, preferably from a buyside firm, though candidates from sell-side (Prime Brokerage) backgrounds may also be considered. Strong OTC Derivatives knowledge, especially in complex products or Fixed Income, and exceptional post-trade support skills are essential. Responsibilities include: Designing, prioritizing, building, and performing daily controls via reconciliations (position, trade, cash) across Equities, FI, Rates, Credit, and Commodities. Providing operational input for infrastructure development, working with technology and external vendors to create scalable processes across product verticals. Managing daily OTC/Exchange margin calls. Reviewing breaks in electronic affirmation platforms (Traiana, CTM, TRM/Harmony, MarkitWire, PB portals). Overseeing post-trade processes performed by third-party administrators and ensuring appropriate escalation responses. Supporting lifecycle processing (e.g., Succession Events, Corporate Actions, Credit Events), including managing rights under event trading strategies.
