This alternative fund manager combines relative value and direct trading through a global macro strategy, aiming to generate outstanding, uncorrelated returns well above benchmarks. Applicants must demonstrate exceptional education, including at least a 2.1 degree in a STEM subject from a Russell Group or equivalent institution, and excellent A-Levels or international equivalents. Relevant experience in a similar Operations role is required, preferably from a buyside firm, though candidates from sell-side (Prime Brokerage) backgrounds may also be considered. Strong OTC Derivatives knowledge, especially in complex products or Fixed Income, and exceptional post-trade support skills are essential. Candidates who do not meet the educational criteria may still be considered for other roles within our hedge fund network.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing, prioritizing, building, and performing daily controls via reconciliations (position, trade, cash) across Equities, FI, Rates, Credit, and Commodities.
- Providing operational input for infrastructure development, working with technology and external vendors to create scalable processes across product verticals.
- Managing daily OTC/Exchange margin calls.
- Reviewing breaks in electronic affirmation platforms (Traiana, CTM, TRM/Harmony, MarkitWire, PB portals).
- Overseeing post-trade processes performed by third-party administrators and ensuring appropriate escalation responses.
- Supporting lifecycle processing (e.g., Succession Events, Corporate Actions, Credit Events), including managing rights under event trading strategies.
