We are looking for someone who:
- Works within the Algo Trading team, responsible for the day-to-day risk management of the Global Markets Algo platform.
- Collaborates with quants to build, analyze, maintain, and manage reports for monitoring and improving client algo performance.
- Builds expertise in the platform to become an expert in Algorithmic behaviour.
- Develops a strong understanding of market microstructure and exchange-side products.
- Develops and adheres to regulations, compliance policies, desk policies, limits, and guidelines.
- Works with stakeholders, including clients and technology teams, to develop future product requirements and detailed design specifications.
You will be working in the Algo Trading Team in London, as part of UBS’s Electronic Trading business, delivering top-tier execution services to a broad range of institutional clients.
Your expertise should include:
- Preferably 2+ years of experience with exposure to a Front Office environment.
- An organized, thorough, and methodical approach to problem solving.
- Comfortable using data to influence decision-making.
- Highly motivated, organized, and inquisitive.
- A calm demeanor and composure in high-pressure situations.
- Passionate about servicing clients, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience with coding is not required but would be advantageous.
- Experience working collaboratively with other teams.
- Knowledge of or interest in Electronic Trading.
