The Role

  • Jointly lead the strategic development of SEN provision across the school.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, external agencies, and senior leaders.
  • Monitor, review, and adapt interventions to ensure all pupils with SEND make strong progress.
  • Provide high-quality training and guidance to staff to uphold best practices in SEN and inclusion.
  • Champion the school’s values and inclusive vision at all levels.

The Team

You’ll be joining a robust and supportive Inclusion Team, which includes another SENDCO and a dedicated Inclusion Lead. The structure has been designed to maintain a balanced and manageable workload across the team.

  • A qualified teacher with QTS.
  • The National Award for SEN Coordination (or currently working towards it).
