Their platform helps law firms and in-house counsel automate legal workflows, extract insights from contracts, and ensure compliance more efficiently and effectively. By leveraging Agentic Generative AI they offer real-time analysis on an unprecedented scale to empower legal professionals with autonomous planning, complex reasoning, and proactive decision-making across core legal use cases.
We’re looking for a Legal AI Engineer who’s passionate about building intelligent systems at the intersection of law and machine learning. You’ll work closely with legal experts, data scientists, and product managers to develop AI features that tackle real legal challenges through the use of agentic GenAI.
As Legal AI Engineer you will:
- Design and implement AI models tailored to legal text and documents (e.g., apply NLP techniques to extract structured insights from unstructured legal data).
- Collaborate with legal SMEs to translate domain knowledge into scalable machine learning solutions.
- Continuously evaluate model performance, ensuring accuracy, fairness, and compliance.
- Help shape the data pipeline and MLOps practices for handling sensitive legal content securely.
Solid experience with Python and ML/NLP libraries (e.g., experience building NLP or document analysis solutions, ideally for legal or compliance use cases). Strong understanding of legal language, structures, and workflows (e.g., bonus: familiarity with legal tech tools or platforms).
