Seeking a highly motivated and experienced nursing leader to join Harbor Health Services Inc. as Director of Nursing, Community Health Centers, in Eastern Massachusetts!
The Director of Nursing (DON) will provide collaborative, strategic, and clinical leadership across all services in accordance with the purpose and values of the organization. Reporting to the SVP, Community Health Centers, the Director will oversee four direct reports and approximately 45+ FTEs while serving as a collaborative partner across the organization with a focus on building relationships with physician and service line leadership in addition to cultivating a culture of respect and responsiveness. The Director will focus on departmental objectives including education/mentorship, billing, care planning, documentation, and workflows to ensure that patient care and quality are optimized throughout the organization. Seeking a strong empowered leader to bring nursing expertise to the organization and move forward key initiatives around alignment of patient needs, outcomes, and compliance and safety with productivity guidelines; including review of equipment to maintain high state of the art technology and techniques. The Director will utilize adopted business models to appropriately measure metrics and develop processes that will ensure the delivery of optimal quality, safety, satisfaction, engagement, and fiscal outcomes throughout the organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree is required; MSN is strongly preferred.
- Active RN license is required.
- A minimum of seven years nursing experience, including a minimum of five years in management experience, is required.
- FQHC experience is strongly preferred.
