We have a great opportunity with one of our financial services clients looking for a Lead Integration Engineer
The role: Following a change in strategic direction and pivot to focus on capabilities within the organisation, our client are now looking for an Integration Lead to lead the integration capability and manage the team within this area. You will be providing technical leadership and expertise in the development, deployment, standardisation and management of Integration based technologies and services. Working closely with the architecture team, responsible for strategy and high-level design, you\’ll then take ownership of low-level design and the delivery against this. This is an exciting opportunity as they move from more legacy technology and ways of working towards a more modern landscape to own the capability and be part of transforming the estate.
Experience required:
- Strong integration technical capability and understanding of multiple integration methods such as OIC, Mulesoft, Boomi etc
- Technical leadership alongside people management experience (Current team of 5-6)
- Expertise in the integration of Applications and Tools & APIs (Rest)
- Strong experience of delivering integration services in an on-prem and cloud environment
- Understanding and experience with modern technology and modern ways of working (i.e. DevOps, CI/CD, agile capabilities, automation, Jira, etc)
- Strong communication skills, as stakeholder engagement is a key part of this role
