An SIA Door Supervision Licence is essential for this role. Main Duties Controlling access points and patrolling the site perimeter. Ingress control – ticket validation, physical body and bag searches, crowd control, refusal of entry when behaviour or suitability does not align with event house rules/policies. Crowd management – directing foot traffic, escorting and ejecting guests, temporarily detaining guests prior to police handover, maintaining order, subduing anti-social behaviour, ensuring crowd safety plans are followed, apprehending suspects. Providing approachable customer service and support. Monitoring and reporting suspicious behaviour and taking appropriate action. Managing egress control. Reporting and recording irregularities, incidents, searches, and patrols. Protecting assets and preventing losses. About You The ideal candidate will need to: Have a passion for keeping people safe. Understand security risks and threats at events and festivals. Possess excellent interpersonal, customer service, verbal, and written communication skills. Enjoy training and continuous learning. Be comfortable camping and able to provide essential camping gear. Be available to work over 24 hours per week during festivals, which is the minimum hours for our shortest festival. Note: Camping is a requirement for this role as the team stays on-site during festivals. If you\’re not a fan of camping, please explore other vacancies.
