CGA by NIQ is a global leader in On Premise research, measurement and consumer research with a service portfolio covering 22 countries. Focused solely on the On Premise channel since 1991, we work with the world’s leading beverage brands supplying best-in-class research and insight solutions. Following the CGA acquisition by world-renowned market research experts NielsenIQ in June 2022, ‘CGA by NielsenIQ’ is bringing a host of world-class On Premise capabilities to many new markets for the very first time.

Our work helps beer, wine, spirits and soft drink brands to track essential market trends, to accurately benchmark performance against competitors, to understand their National Account customers better, to activate brand plans more effectively, to launch new products with less risk and to determine the range of products you ultimately should see on bars and menus all over the world.

The Opportunity: We are looking for a talented individual to play an important role in our global expansion program by helping set the strategy for data acquisition as well as managing and supporting both new and existing data partners. You will have your own portfolio of prospect and existing partners to own and manage (mainly hospitality technology businesses such as POS, Order/Pay apps, in-venue technology and route-to-market players of all types) and you will collaborate with several key internal teams to maximise success.

In summary, you will be accountable for creating and delivering against multi-market data partnership plans and for developing new engagement opportunities with existing partners. This is a broad and varied role which pulls on skills in traditional account management, product and marketing strategy, commercial positioning, data analysis and reporting. You will work with a diverse range of stakeholders, to manage multiple partnerships, oversee the delivery of agreed deliverables, and to track and monitor the overall success of these partnerships.

The Partnership Manager Role:

  • Identify Partner opportunities through research, creative thinking, and industry campaigns
  • Lead or support the initial engagement process and engage with local teams to help execute the plan to grow long term data partners
  • Grow trust and confidence within the Partner's organisation by understanding the Partners' industry, category and business, marketing, and sponsorship objectives
  • Manage the preparation and delivery of preliminary legal documentation and the specification and receipt of sample data
  • Coordinate the efforts of Data Ingestion and Data Science in order to test sample data and to assess commercial scope of such data
  • Complete appropriate value-assessment documentation to understand service gaps that would be supported with a prospect Partner’s data
  • Support the approval process to begin negotiation
  • Support commercial negotiation discussions
  • Coordinate the contract preparation
  • Provide support for reporting on data flow into business until handover
  • Responsible for the account management of key data partners, ensuring that deliverables are achieved via the client success, commercial and/or technical teams
  • Actively look for ways to increase engagement and collaboration between Nielsen IQ and the partner business

Measurement and KPIs:

  • The achievement of quantity and quality of contracted data partners
  • Build excellent working relationships throughout relevant Partner stakeholders
  • Overall partner satisfaction and retention
  • Build strong working relationships within other internal departments
  • Be a positive, collaborative, and effective member of the Partnership Delivery Team

Key attributes, skills and experiences:

  • We’re looking for somebody who has a relevant degree and a solid proven track within a Partnership, Sponsorship or Marketing environment/role
  • The ideal candidate will be highly skilled at relationship management, collaboration and problem solving with a strong track record of developing and managing partnerships across a variety of stakeholders
  • We work at a fast pace, and you will be coordinating and delivering multiple projects at any one time whilst delivering to tight deadlines, so organisation and strong time management skills is key.
  • The ideal person will be positive, proactive and solution-driven
  • Take ownership and feel accountable for day-to-day operations
  • Have the ability to both identify and solve problems
  • Organised, excellent attention to detail and focused on getting things done
  • Experience in MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
