Overview
Third-Party Security Specialist – Salary Circa £60,000.
We have an exciting chance for a passionate and ambitious individual to join our Third-Party Security Team (TPS). You will be the go-to expert for Information Security, acting as the main contact for internal and external stakeholders on all TPS matters.
Responsibilities
We need someone with a strong background in information security auditing or assurance. Your main task will be to assess and assure our critical suppliers against industry-standard information security controls and support any necessary follow-up actions. You will work closely with internal teams, external consultants, and Aviva suppliers to identify key risks with our current suppliers and their security controls.
Key responsibilities include:
- Evaluate and communicate the overall risk level of suppliers by managing the yearly evaluation process.
- Lead the assurance process with a positive attitude, coordinating multiple complex tasks under tight deadlines and pressure.
- Engage with stakeholders to report on risks and assurance activities.
Skills and experience
- Strong background in information security auditing or assurance; experience in third-party assurance or relevant certifications is a bonus.
- Excellent stakeholder management, reporting, and communication skills.
- Teamwork skills to collaborate with different areas within Aviva and with suppliers to achieve outcomes.
What you’ll get
