We are currently looking for a HSE Advisor to work on an industrial construction project in Glasgow. The client has a specific requirement for a HSE professional who can implement and control safety procedures on site but who can also double as a construction supervisor / assistant to the Project Manager. The client is working on a £8m construction project and requires a candidate with industrial construction experience. Ideally, the successful candidate will come from a hands-on, site background.
START: ASAP
LOCATION: Glasgow
Contract length: 6 Months
Overall responsible for safety on the projects. Deal with non-operational RAMS – move to draft and get permitting to sign off. Process confirmations. Establish and maintain communication with safety executives in Sibelco. Maintain KPIs. Write HSE management plan. Write some SOPs for operations. Chair HAZOPs (basic knowledge of functional safety required). All field-based safety activities.
