We have partnered with a leading global pharmaceutical organisation who are seeking a Pharmacovigilance Manager to join their team. In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee the safety of their products, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. If you have a strong background in pharmacovigilance and want to take on a role that drives meaningful change, this is for you!

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Pharmacovigilance Operations, providing strategic oversight and ensuring execution of safety activities in full compliance with safety reporting regulations.
  • Develop and evolve local Pharmacovigilance policies, procedures, and training programs that drive excellence in safety operations and foster a culture of compliance.
  • Lead the review of safety data, signal detection, and benefit-risk assessments, ensuring timely and proactive safety decision-making.
  • Champion the integration of strategy for Patient Safety, as well as Pharmacovigilance across therapeutic areas, embedding safety intelligence into every phase of the product life cycle.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with regulatory authorities, external vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth collaboration and inspection readiness.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring regulatory developments and translating them into actionable updates for systems and practices.
  • Inspire and mentor junior team members, driving continuous improvement and contributing to the strength of the function.

What You Bring to the Role:

  • Degree in Pharmacy, Medical, or Science.
  • Strong experience in Pharmacovigilance Operations for the UK within Pharmaceutical Industry.
  • You excel at managing stakeholders, including suppliers and health authorities, and thrive in cross-functional collaborations.
  • You’re well-versed in safety databases, QMS, and audit/inspection support for pharmacovigilance processes.
  • You know how to prioritise, plan, and lead Pharmacovigilance-related projects in a regulated environment.
