An exciting opportunity has arisen for a detail-focused and commercially-minded Costings Controller to join a global manufacturing business at a key site in Northern Ireland. This is a pivotal role in a high-performing team, offering real influence over costing strategy, process improvement, and systems development in a culture driven by innovation and continuous improvement.

As Costings Controller, you will take ownership of product costing, margin analysis, and inventory valuation across a multi-million-pound operation. You’ll partner closely with operational and commercial teams to ensure accurate, actionable costing data that supports pricing, profitability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the full product costing process
  • Develop and improve standard costing models, BOMs, and cost drivers
  • Analyse manufacturing variances, overhead recovery, and margin performance
  • Provide detailed costing insights to support pricing decisions and commercial strategy
  • Partner with production and supply chain on inventory valuation and control
  • Lead and refine cycle count and stock reconciliation processes
  • Collaborate on ERP and finance systems development to improve data accuracy and efficiency
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes with robust cost data

What You’ll Bring:

  • Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
  • Strong background in costing, manufacturing finance, or commercial analysis
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with the ability to challenge and influence stakeholders
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
  • Proactive, hands-on mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
