We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Cafe Assistants & FOH Team Members to join our vibrant team. This role includes mid-week & Saturday shifts. You will be assisting with food preparation, so food handling and cooking experience is advantageous but not essential. Barista experience is also a bonus! In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our café runs smoothly and efficiently, providing exceptional service to our customers.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of food and beverages, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, including tables, counters, and kitchen equipment.
- Support catering activities by preparing and serving food items for events as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting patrons, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation during busy periods.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Assist with restocking supplies and inventory management as required.
Ideal Candidate
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
- Experience in food preparation or catering is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on hospitality and customer service.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Bartending skills are a plus for assisting with beverage service.
