The Account Manager will report to the Head of EDF Accounts. The key activities of the role include:
- Delivering growth across EDF sub-accounts aligned with both UK and global core competencies, in line with business targets for the UK.
- Driving technical growth across our wider nuclear/non-nuclear accounts to enable the team to meet objectives.
- Supporting overseas growth through importing and exporting capabilities, products, and services.
- Managing the EDF sub-account process and coordinating the client relationship management plan.
- The role is client-facing, focusing on finding, positioning, and securing tactical sales opportunities.
- Leading and developing a sales team aimed at securing orders from existing and new markets and may manage a small team of junior sales engineers in the medium term.
- Close collaboration with colleagues across operations, project management, recruitment, supply chain, legal, and the wider sales and commercial teams both in the UK and globally.
Role Description:
- Reporting to the EDF Key Account(s) Director, you will deliver Framatome's annual sales targets across designated EDF sub-accounts, covering transactional and tactical objectives.
- Acting as a capture manager, developing and influencing new opportunities in collaboration with sales, operations, and recruitment teams, adhering to Framatome's governance processes.
- Building and maintaining enduring client relationships at appropriate levels to secure sales is essential.
- Developing, owning, and coordinating the EDF sub-account plan with all relevant UK and international stakeholders and supporting key account reviews.
- Establishing close working relationships with Framatome's UK and international sales teams (Germany, France, USA) to support sales objectives.
- Understanding and maintaining supply chain relationships, and ensuring opportunities are tracked via the Sales CRM.
- Collaborating with hiring managers and business leaders to understand recruitment and service priorities, developing forward load plans and monitoring performance.
- Creating innovative value propositions in collaboration with operational teams, based on case studies and expertise.
- Assisting in recording and reporting customer KPIs and feedback to monitor team and individual performance.
- Maintaining and expanding a professional network across the industry.

- Market review and account planning: Develop and manage EDF sub-account plans for prospective and existing clients.
- Implement a market coverage plan to ensure Framatome Ltd's presence and activity at the working level within the EDF organization, focusing on power stations.

- Work with procurement to foster relationships with potential delivery partners, aligning with internal supply chain strategies.
- Support market intelligence activities, including visit plans, reports, CRM data, and sales reports.
- Proactively pursue project opportunities within EDF sub-accounts, developing client relationships and consultative selling strategies.
- Act as capture manager for relevant opportunities, collaborating with operations, sales, and recruitment functions.
- Ensure Framatome's placement on approved bid lists with strategic accounts.
