About the role:
Our nationwide Plant and Tool division hires equipment including diggers, dumpers, and small power tools to companies within the construction, utilities, and infrastructure sectors. The Regional HGV Driver is responsible for transporting our plant and equipment efficiently around their assigned region. Based out of a home depot, you will travel throughout the region, covering for sickness, holidays, or where additional resource is needed. You will also train existing HGV Drivers on safe loading and unloading of vehicles. Training will be provided by RoSPA, and you will receive an NPORS qualification in loading and unloading. This role provides regional support, and you will be provided with a company vehicle and fuel card. You may be required to stay away from home when covering remote areas.
About You:
- Significant experience in an HGV driving role, including loading, delivering, and collecting heavy plant equipment from customer sites.
- Class 2 driving licence, Driver CPC with a minimum of 35 hours completed, and a valid Digital Tachograph card.
- An understanding of Health & Safety protocols and the ability to follow these guidelines.
- Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail.
