The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.
We are currently recruiting for a Mobile Reactive Electrician to carry out maintenance repairs across a mix of secondary and primary schools in the Derby area. You’ll provide a planned, preventative, and responsive repair service to ensure client facilities are maintained to the highest standard.
Your role will primarily involve electrical PPM and repair works, including:
- Fault finding
- Emergency lighting tests
- Fuse board inspections
- Repairs to sockets and switches
- PAT testing
- General electrical compliance
As part of a multi-skilled team, you will also assist with basic plumbing, mechanical, and fabric repairs. This is a mobile position, so a valid UK driver’s license is required, and you must be comfortable traveling between sites.
Qualifications
- Proven commercial electrical experience
- Strong fault-finding and repair capabilities
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one before starting)
- Full UK driver’s license (no more than 6 points; no drink driving offences)
