Basic Salary – £26,666 per annum. Pension, Life Assurance & much more.
Working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (12hr shifts), our team provides alarm monitoring services in accordance with procedures & ARC accreditation. Responsibilities include:
- Handling incoming telephone calls in a timely & professional manner.
- Providing monitoring of remote alarm systems & incoming signals from various security devices.
- Assessing the nature and severity of each alarm or alert received, determining whether it requires immediate action, dispatching emergency services if necessary or contacting designated personnel or authorities.
- Communicating clearly and effectively with clients, emergency responders, and other stakeholders to provide necessary information, relay instructions, and coordinate response efforts.
- Maintaining accurate records of all alarm activations, responses, and actions taken, ensuring compliance with established procedures and regulations.
- Following standard operating procedures and protocols for alarm response, escalation procedures, and incident management.
- Collaborating with other ARC Operators and team members to ensure seamless operation of the ARC.
- Providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
- Participating in ongoing training and professional development activities to enhance skills.
Requirements:
- Willingness to work shift patterns that may often include unsociable hours.
- Experience of working on computers including MS Office and Windows.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- An SIA Front Line Public Space CCTV Licence is desirable.
