The group works directly with senior leadership to source, evaluate, and execute high-priority growth initiatives. Projects include acquisitions, portfolio purchases, strategic partnerships, global expansion, public offerings, and new distribution channels. The group deploys Ares’ and third-party capital in opportunities that enhance capabilities and expand offerings. This role offers broad exposure across the firm’s investment groups and operational departments, interacting directly with senior professionals including the Executive Management Committee and Board of Directors. Responsibilities Perform detailed financial and market analyses to inform investment decisions Prepare investment committee memos and board presentations Analyze investment performance and maintain financial models Assist in investment closings and integrations Meet with management teams and sponsors to assess opportunities and monitor investments Provide support to senior management as needed Qualifications Education Bachelor’s Degree required Experience 2-4 years in investment banking, principal investing, or transaction services, preferably in asset management/financial services Skills & Attributes Impeccable integrity and trustworthiness Self-motivated with strong organizational skills High attention to detail Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently Drive comparable to private equity professionals Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Reporting Line Principal, Corporate Strategy Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled. #J-18808-Ljbffr
