VCA Veterinary Emergency and Referral Center of Westbury is growing and to better support the pets and people in our community we are in search of an experienced licensed veterinary technician to be a part of our overnight team. The ideal candidate will have top level technical skills and demonstrate a professional attitude with their coworkers. The successful candidate will share our commitment to delivering the highest quality patient care with exceptional client service.

Potential Schedule: Full time (3) 12 hr shifts

Compensation: $29 - $37 / hour based on skill set, and licensure status (LVT, VTS). Plus $2 overnight differential, $4 weekend differential available.

Licensed Veterinary Technician Duties:

  • Procedural anesthesia monitoring
  • Collecting patient histories & physical exams
  • Venipuncture / IVC placement
  • Hands Free Radiology (Associate safety a top priority)
  • Working collaboratively with team members of all hospital services
  • Providing compassionate care for all patients

We offer specialties including Emergency & Critical Care, Surgery, Internal Medicine, and Oncology.
