Peaple Talent have exclusively partnered with a leading global energy organisation based in central London who are recruiting for a Human Resources System Manager who has 8+ years of experience in HRIS or HR technology leadership roles. You will have proven experience with iTrent (Payroll and HR) HRIS platform along with a strong understanding of HR processes, compliance, and payroll systems and excellent project management, analytical and communication skills.
The Manager of HR Information Systems (HRIS) will be responsible for leading the strategic direction, implementation, and management of the organisation’s HR technology landscape. This role ensures that HR systems support business goals, maintain data integrity and compliance, and streamline HR processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR operations, systems architecture, data governance, and payroll integration within iTrent.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute the HRIS strategy aligned with the broader HR and organisational goals.
- Lead the selection, implementation, and optimisation of HR systems (iTrent).
- Partner with key members of the IT and HR senior teams to ensure system scalability, security, and performance.
- Analyse and map HR processes to ensure system alignment and efficiency.
- Design and maintain automated workflows to support core HR functions (recruitment, onboarding, performance, learning, etc.).
- Ensure systems support compliance with employment laws and internal policies.
- Oversee data integrity, accuracy, and security across all HR systems.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Establish and monitor data audit processes and controls.
- Collaborate with payroll teams to ensure seamless integration between HRIS and payroll systems.
- Support payroll configuration, testing, and issue resolution.
- Maintain compliance with tax and employment law regulations related to payroll processing.
- Lead and develop a team of HRIS super users across HR divisions.
- Serve as the primary liaison between HR, IT, Finance, and external vendors.
