Strip Fitter / Trimmer - Bodyshop
£32,131 - £35,344 per annum
Full-time permanent job Monday to Friday

Our client is a Billion-pound business with 10 sites across the UK. Following a bumper performance in 2023 where their profits were up by circa 70%, and having acquired multiple new sites they now need to expand their vehicle preparation team based in Peterborough. You will be joining a business with over 1500 employees and you will work within a state-of-the-art facility that prepares and enhances used cars with the most cutting-edge equipment. The team you will be working with are experts in the vehicle refinishing industry and everyone is employed permanently so you really get to know your colleagues.
Clear and achievable goals will be in place from day 1 so that new employees can develop and improve their skills and earning potential. Some of our candidates have advanced rapidly within this business from trainee to department manager in less than 2 years! Our client is happy to consider skilled or semi-skilled MET technicians.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Strong stripping and fitting and bodywork preparation experience
- The ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Desire to achieve a consistently high quality of work
- Good time management skills
- Skilled or Semi-Skilled MET/ strip fit / trimmers
Pay and Hours:
- £14.50-£16 depending on Experience
- Monday to Friday Only - No weekends
- Day-shift or Back Shift Available
- Overtime available
