Superb opportunity to join a modern and forward-thinking law firm that offers specialist legal advice across family matters, wealth or asset preservation and inheritance planning. Due to continuing success of opening new offices in Hertfordshire, they are looking to add a Care Solicitor.
The caseload will include:
- Care proceedings
- Deprivation of Liberty applications
- Secure Order applications
- Special Guardianship Orders
- Adoption
Law Society Children Law Accreditation is an advantage, but not essential, as consideration will be given to those who have aspirations to obtain Accreditation within the next 12 months. The candidate should have a proven track record in this area of law and experience of working within a care team.
The Candidate
- Experienced Childcare Solicitor with a minimum of two years PQE
- Ability to work to deadlines, prioritise and manage a varied caseload
- Experience of running their own caseload
- Undertake own advocacy
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional and effective communication with team members and contacts
