This role involves carrying out service and repairs to equipment on customer sites in a safe, professional, and cost-effective manner, maintaining documentation in line with Health and Safety and Quality procedures. Work according to a planned schedule of service and maintenance jobs at client premises, with occasional off-site work. Monitor site stock levels and ensure sufficient supplies for maintenance tasks. Inspect and monitor the safety of trucks after repairs and maintenance. Complete job sheets, timesheets, and purchase paperwork accurately and timely. Manage all equipment and tools, ensuring they are in safe condition. Adhere to strict schedules and deadlines.

Candidates should have knowledge in at least one of the following areas and be willing to undergo additional training:

  • Mechanical engineering
  • Electrical engineering

Essential qualities include the ability to work independently and in a team, good communication skills, high work standards, and adherence to deadlines. We seek someone who can be product trained and immediately take on the Resident Engineer Service role.

Person Specification

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Proficient in fault finding and repair
  • GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths
  • Experience with Health & Safety in workshop practice

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day.
