Location: Stratford, The University of Huddersfield - London Campus

Salary: up to £35,000 per annum

To be a member of the Centre’s Student Experience Team with accountability for data management, assessments and academic administration, compliance (student enrolments and attendance). To implement Study Group’s policies, standard operating processes and procedures, with the purpose of ensuring staff and students are fully supported to maximize student outcomes and satisfaction.

The post holder will report to the Deputy Director - Student Experience and will line manage the Data & Operations Coordinators and Student Experience Officers, in addition to carrying out administrative tasks. The role involves working in a matrix structure, requiring strong collaborative relationships within the Student Experience Team, central Study Group teams, and the university partner to ensure smooth operations.

ABOUT THE ROLE
  • Coordinate and motivate the Student Experience Data and Operations Coordinators and Student Experience Officers to contribute to optimal student outcomes and experience.
  • Liaise with the Deputy Director – Student Experience to ensure coverage at front desk/reception and allocate workload during busy periods or staff absences.
  • Contribute to process and communication improvements with central teams to enhance the student experience.
  • Manage the performance of direct reports, including setting objectives, KPIs, and conducting performance reviews.
  • Encourage and support staff participation in personal development activities.
  • Assist in recruiting new staff in accordance with Study Group policies.
  • Support awareness of compliance requirements and procedures locally.
  • Maintain accurate and current datasets and student results, producing reports as needed.
  • Act as secretary to governance boards as required.
  • Ensure adherence to Study Group policies and procedures.
  • Support quality assurance and enhancement activities.
  • Coordinate updates to student bookings and Study Plan changes with central teams.
  • Ensure timely and accurate production of student reports and feedback.
  • Support management with MAB and PAB organization.
  • Assist with assessment standards, regulations, and assessment release organization.
  • Manage assessment verification, security, and archiving processes.
  • Review and update assessment documentation, including appeals and misconduct cases.
  • Coordinate information collection for central timetabling and liaise for updates.
  • Act as Visa lead, ensuring compliance with visa procedures and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of compliance documentation and liaise with relevant teams.
  • Organize student registration at all intake points, ensuring records are updated and audits conducted.
  • Update Validate system as required and attend visa compliance meetings.
  • Monitor attendance, record interventions, and liaise with Wellbeing teams as needed.
  • Support contact with absent students and communication with parents and agents.
  • Coordinate with university Immigration Team for iCAS procedures.
  • Serve as a point of contact for students, handling inquiries professionally and fostering positive relationships.
  • Assist in organizing student events such as induction and enrichment activities.
  • Manage workload during busy periods in collaboration with central teams.
  • Contribute to process improvements to enhance student experience.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Student Experience Leader or Centre Director.
ABOUT YOU
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Line management experience desirable.
  • Experience supporting students in educational settings.
  • Ability to develop and maintain the Student Experience.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment.
