We are currently seeking two experienced Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultants to support the rollout of a Business Central solution within a retail environment. This contract role will suit functional consultants with hands-on experience configuring BC, uploading data, and working with retail processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Work across business streams to implement and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Load and manage Configuration Packages, including initial data migration and ongoing updates.
- Participate in workshops, data validation, UAT, and post-go-live support.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure a smooth end-to-end solution delivery.
- Assist with stock configuration, item master data, and related retail modules.
- Use your understanding of retail operational processes to shape system setup and end-user readiness.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience as a Business Central Functional Consultant, ideally on more than one implementation.
- At least one consultant must be highly comfortable using Configuration Packages and handling data loads.
- Experience working in or delivering to retail businesses, with a good understanding of related workflows (stock, sales, purchasing, etc.).
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and business users.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accurate configuration and testing.
- Familiarity with stock and inventory processes within BC.
- Basic knowledge of Azure Queues / Azure Service Bus.
- Any exposure to Power Platform or related Microsoft technologies.
- Experience working with third-party retail integrations or POS systems.
