Bilfinger UK is looking for Insulators to join us on site at AWE.
Duration: 4 Months
Rotation: 10 days on, 4 days off
Work schedule:
- Week 1: Tuesday to Thursday, 11.5 hours; Friday to Sunday, 10 hours.
- Week 2: Monday to Wednesday, 11.5 hours; Thursday, 6 hours.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Be aware of personal accountability.
- Have the required competencies for the fabrication and application of specialist insulation systems, cladding, and sealant to pipework, adhering to health, safety, and environmental regulations, and considering environmental and sustainability factors.
- Understand legislative, regulatory, and local requirements or procedures, including responsibilities for reporting and safe working practices.
- Prepare and reinstate work areas, materials, and equipment, understanding the consequences of incorrect actions.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, quality standards, and manuals; follow work instructions and schedules.
- Select appropriate tools and equipment, following relevant training, methods, and safety procedures.
- Ensure the care and security of tools and equipment used.
- Handle digital information, technology, and equipment to support work tasks and communication.
- Apply insulation and metallic/non-metallic cladding systems.
- Understand QA/QC requirements.
- Be aware of COSHH requirements for products used.
Qualifications:
- TICA Advanced Craft Card (TICA Skills Card).
- Ability to apply for security clearance.
