Hours: 36 hours per week, 3x Shift Pattern

  • 6am - 1.30pm Monday to Thursday
  • 6am - 12pm Friday
  • 1.30pm - 9pm Monday to Thursday
  • 12pm - 6pm Friday
  • 9pm - 6am Monday to Thursday

Our client is a market leading Folding Carton Manufacturer supplying predominately FMCG packaging, they have an exceptional reputation for their outstanding levels of quality and service.

To assist Printers in the setting and operation of the print press whilst also providing general support to the Print Department. If / when going to board warehouse position then this will require board management using an FLT.

Role Duties/Tasks:

  • Loads sheets into presses and adjusts feeding mechanisms to ensure continuous running
  • Ensure sufficient board is available
  • Moves unprinted and printed product around the factory/department as required
  • Operation of the pile turner (ensuring lock off procedures are adhered to)
  • Perform press maintenance and general housekeeping of the work area
  • Provide general assistance to Printers and other areas of the factory as required
  • Maintain a clean, safe working environment
  • Cover board warehouse when required.

  • Self motivated and forward thinking
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines with flexibility and enthusiasm

Qualifications:

  • Competent in using M.I.S (D-365 / Chronos system skills are an advantage)
  • Lithography printing knowledge / experience very desirable
