Head of Project Delivery - IT & Change

Leading Financial Services client is now looking for a dynamic Head of Project Delivery on a permanent basis. The role is offering a base of £140,000 + strong bonus, pension and car allowance and it is based out of their London and South coast offices (hybrid working available). As the Head of Project Delivery, you will lead and shape a high-performing change and delivery function, fostering an environment where Business Analysts, Project Managers, and Product Owners can excel. Youll champion Agile methodologies and be responsible for overseeing a large-scale delivery operation comprising more than 15 Scrum teams and over 150 professionals. This role demands a hands-on leader with deep experience in financial services, who can drive complex change, manage multi-million-pound budgets (circa £30m+), and develop the resource capacity required to deliver high-impact transformation initiatives. To be considered for this role you will need the following: Experience running large & fast paced Change / Delivery functions within Financial Services. Essential Experience overseeing large teams of Business Change Professionals. As well as proven experience nurturing and developing talent. Must have an excellent background in Resource and Budget Management. Direct budget responsibilities in excess of £30m. Previous experience developing robust Portfolio dashboards and KPIs. Comfortable supporting BAs, PMs & Product owners in their projects, providing cover where required and have the ability to pick up any aspect of the project when required. Has exceptional leadership skills and is able to influence cross-functional departmental leaders in a particular direction. A team-builder and team player, who can work comfortably in a highly collaborative setting.
