About the Role: An architect role is a critical role for business success and as an architect, you will work closely with Capability and Technical Product Owner, Enterprise Architect, BPCs, Technical Consultants, BAs along with other Business stakeholders to ensure that the solution proposals that you are making for build is fit for purpose and well aligned with the future aspiration of the organization. As an architect, you will be accountable for designing an E2E Solution Blueprint to meet customer requirements aligned with features and functionality of the ServiceNow platform wherever possible.
Responsibilities:
- Solutioning, designing and building the Service Portal solution for large enterprises.
- Understanding the business context and translating functional and technical requirements into a sustainable ServiceNow solution.
- Presenting the different solution options against a business problem to Architecture Review Board (ARB)/Technical Design Authority (TDA) and getting concurrence of the same from ARB/TDA.
- Defining an overall Data Architecture to ingest the data into ServiceNow platform for Day-0 load and delta load.
- Leading the platform design including integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise solutions like JIRA, Workday using: SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, FTPS.
- Support the development and configuration of ServiceNow in a variety of areas including, but not limited to Service Portal, Change, Problem, Incident, Service Catalog, Knowledge, Configuration Management Database (CMDB), Discovery, Reporting, and SLAs.
- Delivering the epics and features on time and within budget by effectively managing cross functional multi location team.
- Communicating key messages to clients and other stakeholders.
- Coaching and mentoring the junior members of the ServiceNow practice team.
Required Experience:
- Proven experience in the delivery of large-scale technology transformation projects, including experience in the Solution Design and Architecture of ServiceNow projects of at least one module such as ITSM, S2P, ITOM, CSM.
- Experience in delivering IT projects with at least 3-6 years as a ServiceNow Architect.
- Proven experience in configuration, customization, development, and administration on the ServiceNow platform.
- Proven experience in implementing new functionality using Variable sets, Forms design, Business Rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, Access Control Lists, Workflow Activities, Flows, Script Includes, Transform Map etc.
- Proven experience in working within both waterfall and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- TOGAF and Certified Implementation Specialist Certifications in any of the ServiceNow products are preferred.
