Overview

Youth Worker (Behaviour Mentor) – Secondary School – Tower Hamlets – ASAP Start- 110 – 115 per day (depending on experience)

Youth Worker required for a Mainstream Secondary School in the borough of Tower Hamlets. Youth Worker required to work with students to provide behavioural and pastoral support. Youth Worker required to have at least 1 year\\\’s experience with young people, ideally in a school setting. Youth Worker must have strong behaviour management skills. Youth Worker ideally be Team Teach/ Physical Intervention Trained.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1, in-class and outside-class support to students.
• Work with students with challenging behaviour and build good rapport with them.
• Deliver behavioural and pastoral support to pupils from diverse backgrounds.

Requirements

• At least 1 year\\\’s experience working with young people, ideally in a school setting.
• Strong behaviour management skills.
• Desirable: Team Teach/Physical Intervention training.
• Empathetic approach and ability to build excellent rapport with students.
