This is a fixed-term maternity cover role for one of Realtime’s trusted clients, Sonos, a globally recognized brand in audio innovation. While the role is listed through Realtime, the successful candidate will work directly with the Sonos EMEA team. We’re assisting with the recruitment process as a hiring partner only.

About the Role

  • Dates: June 1, 2025 - May 30, 2026
  • Preferred Location: UK, France or Germany - fully remote
  • Spoken languages: English native or Bilingual, German fluent, French is a plus

As a Senior Media Specialist, you’ll be responsible for assisting in the development, execution, and optimisation of media campaigns across multiple channels globally across the Americas and EMEA. Working closely with the Regional Media Leads, Global Media LT, creative teams, and external media partners, you will help bring media strategies to life, ensuring campaigns are executed effectively and efficiently.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in media operations, marketing, or digital media.
  • Team work: Proven track record of working with global or regional teams and managing media workflows.
  • Project & Stakeholder management: Experience collaborating with external agencies and managing cross-functional projects.
  • Skills and Competency: Strong understanding of media planning, execution, and measurement. Excellent project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines. Solid knowledge of digital media platforms, advertising technologies, and media tools. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Analytical mindset with the ability to assess campaign performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with media management or project management tools is a plus. Strong attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Media Execution & Operations: Manage day-to-day execution of media plans across digital, TV, radio, print, and OOH. Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure asset delivery and campaign accuracy. Monitor live campaigns, track performance, and recommend optimizations. Align creative assets with media strategies. Develop and refine media creative briefs. Review and localize creative for regional markets in accordance with brand and legal standards.
  • Campaign Tracking & Reporting: Track and report campaign KPIs (reach, CTRs, conversions, etc.). Deliver actionable insights to media and cross-functional teams. Liaise with external media vendors and agencies for smooth execution and delivery. Support communication between Sonos’s internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Budget Management: Monitor campaign spend and ensure activities remain within budget.
