As Deputy Manager at Leckford Hotels & Campsite, you will be central to our dynamic hospitality team, directing daily operations. Working closely with the General Manager and department heads, you will aim to meet sales targets and enhance customer experience, especially within our catering services. This role involves managing sales strategies, identifying growth opportunities, and improving operational efficiency. You will collaborate with hotel leadership to implement innovative projects that create memorable guest experiences.
Salary: £38,000 - £57,500
Contract type: Permanent
Working pattern: 37.5 hours per week, a mix of shifts on a rota basis—Monday to Friday with alternate weekends
Location: Leckford Hotel Sites
Key responsibilities:
- Operational management of Leckford Abbas, lodges & camping, and Longstock House
- Overall responsibility for food and beverage operations
- Implementing new initiatives aligned with the business plan
- People management, including development and performance reviews for direct reports
- Developing and executing marketing and sales strategies
- Collaborating with department managers to meet business goals
- Monitoring budgets and financial performance
- Overseeing policy enforcement and success metrics
- Maintaining customer satisfaction, sales, profit, and occupancy levels
- Driving profitability through sales increases and cost reductions
- Ensuring a profitable and cohesive food and beverage operation
- Partner development, performance, and empowerment
- Successful rollout of initiatives ensuring efficiency and compliance
Essential skills/experience:
- Experience in senior hospitality roles
- Proven leadership in food and beverage operations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with hotel booking systems and POS

- Food Hygiene Level 4 preferred but not essential
