WE’RE HIRING!!! FULL-TIME, WISe CERTIFIED PEER COUNSELOR OPPORTUNITY (PROVIDING COMMUNITY BASED TREATMENT) ABERDEEN, WASHINGTON (SERVICING GRAYS HARBOR COUNTY AREA)
Who we are: Community Integrated Health Services (CIHS) is a Washington State-based behavioral health organization offering quality care to all communities we serve. Our team of dedicated, experienced professionals offer a variety of behavioral health services to people of all ages.
Hourly Range: $19.23 - $24.50/HR ($40,000 - $50,960 annually)
Additional Pay: $2,200 per year for on-call hours.

Qualifications:
- Must have a Washington State Certified Peer Certification.
- High School Diploma or equivalent with experience associated with individuals of mental health and/or substance use disorder.
- Agency Affiliated Counselor with the Department of Health or ability to obtain within 7-days from hire date.
- Two (2) years of experience working as a peer, preferably in a behavioral health and/or substance use setting is preferred.

Some of what you will do:
- Provides client services necessary for the continuity of client care, including consultation, supervision, referrals, and correspondence.
- Work with program participants and treatment team staff to develop a treatment/recovery plan based on the individual’s person-centred strengths, needs, abilities, and recovery goals.
- Assist clients in working with their case manager or treatment team in determining the steps needed to achieve these goals and self-directed recovery.
- Contribute to the program's ongoing evaluation of individual service users’ mental illness symptoms and responses to treatment.
- Share observations and concerns with WISe Team Members for consultation and direction and take appropriate action.
- Ensure diverse youth and family engagement.
