The Company
We are working with an international Fintech Start-Up in the payments space who are completely changing the game for how payments work for small businesses. They have built a platform that massively reduces costs giving small merchants a bigger chance of success and much more flexibility. This rapidly scaling company is founded by entrepreneurs with a serious background in building businesses, they have secured millions of funding from some of the UK's most well-recognised venture capitalists and are now looking to further scale up its Salesforce usage and processes. The product has a strong presence around Europe and the UK, they have also recently launched in America.
About The Role
You will be joining the small but scaling team. While the role is very much hands-on, you will also have the opportunity to manage the team and lead the technical direction. The company is growing a lot and they are looking for a specialist who has worked in regulated environments previously. A key focus moving forward will be on the risk and compliance aspects which are critical as they operate in a heavily regulated area.
Responsibilities:
- Guide and grow a team of Salesforce professionals, fostering both their technical expertise and career development.
- Evolve and maintain the overall Salesforce architecture, with a strong focus on scalable integrations and long-term maintainability.
- Partner with key stakeholders to gather business requirements and convert them into impactful Salesforce capabilities.
- Take ownership of the design, build, and rollout of Salesforce-based solutions across various internal functions and banking product lines.
- Oversee and enhance the nCino platform to ensure seamless alignment and integration with existing Salesforce systems and evolving business objectives.
- Own the introduction of Agentforce.
- Write and manage custom APEX code, Lightning components, and advanced validation rules to meet complex use cases.
- Promote development best practices, ensuring robust documentation, effective change management, and quality assurance.
- Continuously track new Salesforce releases and features to evaluate potential impact on strategic initiatives and platform improvements.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability in developing Salesforce solutions, including expertise in APEX programming and Lightning components.
- Skilled in guiding and mentoring Salesforce team members, particularly in environments subject to regulatory oversight.
- Holds Salesforce Platform Developer certification (Level I or II), with Administrator credentials considered an added advantage.
- Deep understanding of system integrations, including hands-on experience working with APIs to connect platforms efficiently.
- Enthusiastic about streamlining processes and boosting productivity through automation and intelligent tooling solutions.
- Thrives in dynamic, cross-disciplinary teams and enjoys working in fast-moving, highly collaborative settings.
