The group that mobilises offshore is very uniquely positioned to carry out many service offerings, which gives a very good career path with many different avenues to progress. The team is driven by a very conscientious onshore support team with hundreds of years of experience in the industry.

To deliver effective process services, achieving revenue and profit targets within budget and securing long term growth through service excellence. As a Field Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing shutdown procedures and job programmes for small operations (where required).
  • Liaising with Client offshore.
  • Supervising personnel during platform shutdowns & general PPS operations.
  • Performing all types of PPS services (including but not limited to HLD, purging, foaming inerting, pipe freezing, bolting, HOF, chemical cleaning, pigging, umbilicals and mechanical).
  • Troubleshooting / fault finding on all Company equipment.
  • Performing all types of PPS pumping related calculations.
  • Performing risk assessments.
  • Rig up/down equipment unsupervised, carries out pre job checks in compliance with HSE procedures and Client Permit to Work systems.
  • Ensuring that all equipment is in good working order and maintained/serviced when required.
  • Recording all data required for job reporting.
  • Checking system line up completing valve isolation check sheets prior to pressurising.
  • Reporting any conflict of interest or deviation from procedure to the Company/Client representative.
  • Performing standard daily checks and full maintenance on pump units.
  • Assisting in coiled tubing operations & general well service operations.
  • Checking all paperwork is complete and is presented to the Client for signing at the end of the job, and is presented at the post job meeting.
  • Ensuring a written record of job activities is kept in an accurate fashion and that all chargeable time features on job paperwork.
  • Promoting the progression of more junior staff members toward further competence.
  • Possessing a full working knowledge of the Permit to Work system.
  • Performing COSHH assessments on all related substances.
  • Participating in yard operations as required.
  • Attending pre & post jobs as required.

  • Have a comprehensive knowledge of Process or Pipelines operations.
  • Have general knowledge of the oil and gas industry.
  • Have proven Mechanical experience.
  • Have previous Supervisory experience.
  • Have industry experience and product line training required.
  • Have UKNS offshore survival and valid medical.
  • Attain the training and competency level outlined in the Company matrix.
  • Have exceptional interpersonal skills including listening and oral communication.
  • Be flexible and willing to handle a wide variety of responsibilities.
  • Have the ability to anticipate future situations and plans ahead to meet them.
  • Able to work proactively with minimum day to day supervision.
  • Hold a UK work permit/passport and not require future sponsorship.
