Due to continued organisational growth and internal development opportunities, we are excited to be recruiting for a Night Practitioner/Night Support Worker to join our well-established Children’s Residential Home team at Tigh Abaid, located in the peaceful rural village of Langford, within the Newark and Sherwood district of Nottinghamshire.
As a Night Practitioner, you will play an essential role in providing consistent and compassionate care throughout the night. Each shift brings new opportunities to support and connect with the young people in our home.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing personal care during the evening and nighttime routines, including toileting, bathing, and dressing—always with dignity and respect.
- Building and maintaining trusting, positive relationships with the young people we support.
- Attending to each child’s physical, emotional, behavioural, and cultural needs, ensuring their care plans are up-to-date and reflective of their evolving needs.
- Creating a stable, nurturing, and safe environment that prioritises health, wellbeing, and personal development.
- Supporting with general household duties to maintain a warm, clean, and welcoming home.

What experience and qualifications do you need:
- A genuine passion for care and to be motivated by contributing to the progression of others.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Computer literacy.
- A Diploma Level 3 in Young People’s Workforce (or equivalent) or a willingness to complete this qualification within a fixed timeframe.
